ABOUT US
A BRIEF HISTORY OF SIOUX CONCRETE: Rob Suwyn, the founder of Sioux Concrete Construction, was raised in Michigan. Later, he came to Dordt College. After 10 years of teaching Spanish at Unity Christian High School, Rob founded Fairview Concrete Construction Inc. (the name was later changed to Sioux Concrete Construction). While growing up in Michigan, Rob worked summers for Burgess Concrete Construction where he learned many of his concrete skills. During the summers, while not teaching, Rob did concrete work for friends. After years of trying to do both teaching and concrete, he decided to trust the Lord and work concrete construction full time.
FROM FAIRVIEW TO SIOUX CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION:
Rob originally named the company, Fairview, after his dad’s farm in Michigan. The name was later changed to Sioux Concrete Construction in May of 2015, because of the association with Fairview, SD.
COMPANY HISTORY AND MISSION:
Since the company’s inception, Sioux Concrete Construction has excelled in flatwork, poured walls and decorative concrete projects. Sioux Concrete Construction is dedicated to providing their customers with a good experience and quality workmanship.
